What We Do
Animal Rescue of South Florida saves adoptable dogs and cats from high kill shelters in the tri county area. We spay-neuter, vaccinate, and microchip all animals before they go to a loving foster home and await their forever home. We actively promote our adoptable pets in every way we can, and are dedicated to find them the loving home they so desperately deserve.
Animal Rescue of South Florida’s success is largely contingent on the number of foster homes we have available.
The solution is simple – the more foster families we have, the more dogs and cats we can save.
Why We do It
According to The Humane Society of the United States four million cats and dogs – about one every eight seconds – are put down in the U.S. Many of these animals are happy, healthy, adoptable pets that are needlessly euthanized because of the simple fact that they don’t have a home.
Animal Rescue of South Florida works tirelessly to decrease this overwhelming statistic.
